Gil S. MSc CEO

Gil Sofer, MSc, is a distinguished architect of innovation at the intersection of high-stakes healthcare technology, strategic executive consulting, and aerospace medicine. Bringing over 30 years of experience leading large-scale clinical, biomedical, and administrative technology infrastructure, Gil is a proven leader in solving complex challenges for executive healthcare leadership. During his tenure as CIO for ColumbiaDoctors at Columbia University, he directed, implemented, and managed all medical ancillary systems, led teams exceeding 250 personnel, and spearheaded critical initiatives exceeding $100 million in value. Today, as a founder and President of the Israel Aerospace Medical Association (IASMA) and CEO of Israel Aerospace Medical Ventures (IASMV), he applies this extensive foundation to provide strategic management, technological oversight, and expert support for high-growth startups, bridging the gap between advanced medical systems and the extreme physiological requirements of the aerospace field.

Summer Sofer, MD. COO

Dr. Summer Sofer is a visionary leader and the founder and CEO of the Israel Aerospace Medical Association (IAsMA). She is dedicated to establishing a national infrastructure for space health, she bridges the gap between medicine, engineering, and aerospace to address the physiological challenges of extreme environments. Through IAsMA, Dr. Sofer champions a multidisciplinary ecosystem that connects medicine, bioengineering and academia, fostering vital research and global collaboration. Her commitment to Aerospace innovation and education—exemplified by hosting specialized conferences and student initiatives—solidifies her role in inspiring the next generation of space innovators. A 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, she combines her rigorous academic background and resilient leadership to position Israel as a pivotal contributor to global aerospace medicine, ensuring human performance and safety remain at the forefront of exploration
